WEA Fairfields Playing Fields: Enabling Groundworks and Grass Pitch Construction. The scope of the works is limited to site clearance operations (removal of existing vegetation to enable access to land, ground works (to include the striping, storing and spreading of topsoil, stripping and filling of sub soil and finishing grading works), installation of land drainage system to future sports pitches and associated works (to include the creation of SUDs attenuation ponds and culverting of ditches to enable future vehicular access), Grass seeding and associated maintenance operations to develop sport England compliant natural turf sports pitches and establish amenity grass to future open space areas.
