Bio Waste Disposal Services

Essex County Council (ECC) and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council (SBC) are seeking to commence procurement in Spring 2022 for Transfer, Treatment and Disposal Services for source segregated municipal bio-wastes arising in the county of Essex and the unitary authority of Southend-on-Sea. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) has been issued to the open market to invite interested suppliers to participate in a further market engagement exercise to assist in the development of tender documents. We are requesting that interested suppliers complete a short questionnaire via the hyperlink in Section 5 of this notice by 19th December 2021. ECC may organise short follow up calls in the New Year following review of responses, if any clarifications are required.
