Description
Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) will be moving its headquarters from Shire Hall to a new Civic Hub in Alconbury Weald in 2021. The site is 5-miles north of Huntingdon and close to the A14 making it easily accessible by road and there are some cycle networks leading to the site. The building is expected to be open to staff from middle of August 2021 and the car park booking tool must be available to be used by staff in advance of this from 1 August 2021 so that staff can start booking parking spaces prior to the site opening. There will be approximately 720 roles (staff and members) based at the Civic Hub and the site will accommodate approximately 350 people at desks and in collaborative spaces. The Council requires a digital booking tool for the 212 parking spaces for Council members and officers which will enable them to book 2 parking spaces per week (this includes the 22 dedicated EV charging point spaces). The remaining spaces will sit outside the booking tool and will be provided access into the carpark.
