Description

Cutty Sark is one of the most famous ships in the world. Her figurehead; the witch 'Nannie' comes from the Robert Burn's poem Tam O'Shanter. Nannie currently resides at the bow of the ship. Due to wear and tear affecting the figurehead, she now needs to be re-carved. The only known drawing of Nannie by Cutty Sark's designer Hercules Linton, will be the basis for the new design. Also marring the artistic style of the original carver of Nannie; Fredrick Hellyer from Hellyer & Son. A new nannie will be required to replace the current one at the bow of the ship. Further details regarding the project are in the accompanying documents. Note: start date of contract can be negotiated. (see part 2. No. 12 period of start date)
