Description
Given the internal and external environments, there is a need to make much more intelligent use of our research information to inform investment and strategic decision making with the aim of supporting academics, increasing our research performance, and generating more effective return on the investment in research workload allocations. The University currently has a number of disparate systems and processes which are used to manage research and its associated information and outputs, including the ethics applications and approval process and Banner for storing PGR student records. Two distinct areas of service have been identified.
