Description
NHS Brighton and Hove CCG has reviewed the way that it commissions lymphoedema services for its population. The CCG wishes to ensure there is a robust service for patients with primary and secondary lymphoedema which is combined with existing tissue viability pathways. This service must be provided in accordance with a regime of strong clinical governance to ensure that our patients have the upmost trust in the service they receive. Following a period of engagement and discussion with neighbouring organisations we realise that we are able to extend the services provided by a local community provider to create the required service. Accordingly, NHS Brighton and Hove CCG have made a minor variation to the existing contract with Sussex Community Foundation Trust to incorporate the additional services required to meet its requirements for the city. The value stated is for the 2 years of the contract.
