Provision of a Foster Panel Chairperson

Caerphilly County Borough Council, Social Services Department (The Council) wishes to engage with a suitably qualified individual (the Service Provider) to act as the Independent Chair of the Council’s Foster Panel in line with the requirements set out in PART 5 of The Regulated Fostering Services (Wales) Regulations 2019. The overall aims of this provision are: To Chair the Council’s Fostering Panel. To ensure that the Panel remains in line with regulations, policy and legislation. To ensure the Panel members are aware of their roles and to facilitate the involvement of all Panel members. To make clear, evidenced recommendations. To ensure the Panel is efficient and professional, and to provide clarity where required. Full details will be issued as part of the tender process when the Tender notice is issued. This notice is to inform the market of a potential contract to be issued early July 2025.
