Description
The Employer (RMBC) is looking to appoint a Contractor to carry out servicing and maintenance works to stairlifts, escalators, passenger lifts and goods lifts that are owned/managed by the Employer. The contract is to be awarded on a JCT 2016 Measured Term Contract basis with a 36 month term commencing from 1st January 2024 and option to extend for further 12 months (up to a maximum of 31st December 2028), at the sole discretion of the Employer. Whilst the contract provides no exclusivity or guarantee of workflow/ volume it is anticipated that the spend per annum will be approx. £50000. This Underlying Contract is awarded via mini-competition from Lot-1 Servicing and Maintenance of passenger and good lifts of EN: Procure Lift Maintenance and Installation Framework dated 24th September 2020 with OJEU award notice reference:2020/S 167-405973.
