Health Visiting & School Nursing 0-19 Service

The 0-19 Health Visiting and School Nursing Service delivers support to children and families from pre-birth to aged 19 and covers the nationally mandated checks for under 5 years olds through to support to schools to assist them to deliver their requirements to manage pupils' health conditions and issues. It also covers the National Child Measurement Programme. A Safeguarding Children team forms part of the service. The service is expected to work closely with a range of partners in the health sector, early years, schools, social care and the voluntary sector.
