Description
The North York Moors National Park Authority (NYMNPA) is working with DEFRA through their test and trials process to develop a new Environmental Land Management System (ELMS). The new system will be the key mechanism for delivering 6 of the goals set out in the 25 Year Environment Plan and will be the means by which the government pays farmers and land managers for the provision of public goods. The Authority is looking to develop a tool that models the economic impact of attaching different values (payments) to the delivery of public goods and the impact this has on different farming sectors active within the North York Moors. The Authority is seeking an experienced Consultant to work with its Future Farm Policy Officer to develop and test the economic modelling tool.
