The Provision of Toxicology Services

To support the organisation in the robust investigation of concerns regarding a social worker's drug and/or alcohol use, Social Work England require toxicology testing at the investigation, case examination, hearing, and case review stages of a fitness to practise case. The results of toxicology testing will be used by Social Work England to provide evidence of a social worker's fitness to practise and by way of monitoring a social worker's remediation to ensure public safety.
