Trapeze Support and Maintenance - for VEAT notification purposes only

Trapeze Pass Export Interface Support and Maintenance. This is Support & Maintenance for Bradford Council's scheduling and dispatch of transport services. The Council are not looking to procure a replacement system, we are looking to licence and support the system currently in place. Trapeze Group UK is the owner of the Intellectual Property rights (IPR) of the Trapeze System software. Trapeze is therefore the only provider able to provide maintenance and support of the Pass Export Interface.City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) purchased the Trapeze System in 2006. This VEAT notice is for the ongoing support and maintenance. The contract is not to procure a new system or solution, it is solely to support the system it has previously procured. Competition is absent for technical reasons and the protection of exclusive rights (source code) Trapeze do not allow other 3rd parties to provide support and maintenance. No alternative or substitute exists that can provide the required subscription and support services. The VEAT notice is for a period of 1 year (1st August 2018 - 31st July 2019), with the option to extend for a further 1+1 years
