Description
The Council is looking for a company to produce a detailed technical recommendation for a district heating scheme(s) throughout Trafford Park, which is implementable and investable and meets the eligibility requirements set out in the DBEIS HNIP Application Guidance, namely: Meets one of the following heat source requirements: o 75% of heat from non-renewable fuelled CHP o 50% of heat from a renewable source o 50% recovered heat, or o 50% of heat from any combination of renewable/ recovered heat and non-renewable fuelled CHP. Does not result in any customer detriment when compared with the counterfactual/ business as usual case. Will measurably reduce the input of primary energy required for each unit of energy delivered in a cost effective way, when compared to the baseline/ 'business as usual' scenario. Has no technical or contractual impediment to future expansion.
