GMCA 1200 - Science and Innovation Audit Report

GMCA is seeking to appoint a partner to provide an independent audit that will build on the Science and Innovation Audit Report for Greater Manchester (GM) and Cheshire East, published in November 2016, and subsequent work that has been done such as the GM Independent Prosperity Review to provide an up-to-date assessment of the region's capabilities and the opportunities and challenges faced by the innovation ecosystem centered specifically on Greater Manchester. The 2016 report outlined a broad-ranging analysis of the region's capabilities, the challenges and the opportunities for future economic growth. This refreshed 2025 audit that GMCA is commissioning will take a wider approach than the original audit taking in to account private sector strengths, 'real innovation geographies', and how effectively GM deploys its technology strengths.
