Description
The work package consists of diversionary works required to enable the area south campus of Euston Station. This will include multiple non-contestable diversions both secondary and primary diversions to enable London Underground infrastructure linking the new HS2 station to the existing LU Euston and Euston Square stations. The scope will include the delivery of all contestable diversions and contestable elements of non-contestable diversions alongside the management and coordination of the non-contestable scope. These diversions are located around the future Euston Square entrances area and Gordon Street box entrance, including stage 5 design construction design detailed of secondary diversions (in coordination with the PUCs) and interfaces such as our Lead Designer, Utilities South Designers, Public Utilities Companies, TfL, LU and other MDJV subcontractors. General Approach: • Multiple utility diversions required to enable construction of each area. • Contestable and non-contestable utilities included (water, gas, sewer, power, private) • Multi-stage approach required to enable the works due to special constraints - Stage 1 - temporary (secondary) relocations - Stage 2 - permanent relocations Constrained sites within high trafficked areas adjacent to key stakeholders Existing connections to be maintained throughout the works
