Provision of Green Waste Collection, Transportation and Recycling Services 2019

South Gloucestershire Council's StreetCare Department provides various statutory and discretionary services to the local community that generate quantities of green waste. This contract is for the collection and transportation of this green waste to the contractor's designated recycling facilities. The service produces an average of 265 tonnes of green waste per year, though this figure can vary depending on prevailing growth and service demands. The service will be provided by the contractor at the Council's main operating centre at Broad Lane Depot, Engine Common, Yate, BS37 7PN. The contract will also allow the client to be able to deliver green waste directly to the contractor's facility, where this meets the client's operational needs.
