Description
THIS IS A CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE Cambridgeshire County Council on behalf of Peterborough City Council has delegated authority to commission covid testing service for both authorities as a Further Competition under the National Microbiology Framework, Lot 4 - Clinical Laboratory Diagnostic Testing Services set up by Public Health England (PHE) now the UKHSA. The contract is to provide a level of resillence to enable the following: • Facilitate a local key worker testing pathway over the forthcoming winter in support of existing capacity from NHS • Reduce risks to business continuity for critical services due to key workers being unable to access covid PCR testing in a timely manner • Ensure testing and results of Key Workers is delivered in a timely manner. The contract is on a pay per use basis only, so the estimated value and budget and is dependent on usage. The contract is for 4 months initially with an option to extend for 12 further months if required
