Description

Southwark Council is currently planning to procure various insurance policies. The contract is likely to last a maximum of 5 years. Southwark Council are seeking to engage the market in advance of a forthcoming tender opportunity for insurance covering the principal classes of Property, Casualty and Motor and some small, ancillary covers such as personal accident and school travel. The purpose of this early market engagement is to make relevant bidders aware of the upcoming opportunity and provide some basic information in advance if required about the council, the current insurance arrangements and claims data. The tender notice will be issued on or around 7 May 2025. For more information about this opportunity, please express your interest via the procurement portal. Contract Dates: 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2028 Possible extension to 30 September 2030 Please note in section V.5 the total value is the combined annual value for the purposes of this preliminary market engagement and will be updated at the Tender Notice.
