IT Asset Disposal/ Recycling Service

The Council currently disposes of IT assets at the end of their usable life. In some instances, devices will still provide some operational level of use; however a large proportion of equipment disposed of will be non-operational and in some circumstances, incomplete units. A key objective is to send as little waste as possible to landfill and to treat or dispose of all electrical and electronic waste responsibly in compliance with WEEE and Environmental Agency regulations, ethically and to minimise the Council's carbon footprint.
