Description
As per it's Compliance Improvement Plan, Norwich City Council requires the support of a licenced contractor to undertake Fire Risk Assessments as part of its planned works programme across both housing and corporate buildings. This has been awarded against Lot 6 of the Compliance Framework with Eastern Procurement Limited (EPL). EPL is a not-for-profit organisation offering specialist compliant framework agreements, social landlords and other public sector bodies, predominantly in the Eastern region. The council are owner members of EPL and work closely with them to create bespoke procurement frameworks. The frameworks promote value for money for the council and include SMEs and local suppliers. The award was approved by Cabinet members at its meeting on 08 March 2023.
