A supplier event will be held on 26th July 2017 from 10am to 1pm in the Civic Suite, Committee Room 4, Catford Road, SE6 4RU - to RSVP please contact Daniel.Ampaw@Lewisham.gov.uk by 17th July 2017 At this event further information regarding the nature of the framework agreement, lots available to tender for, and expectations of the service will be discussed. The council is likely to allow providers to tender for four lots across the personalised care and support service: Lot A - Personalised care and support delivered by Children's Nurses for Children with Complex Health/Medical Needs Lot B - Personalised care and support delivered by Carers Lot C - Personalised care and support delivered by Support workers Lot D - Mentoring, buddying and support for challenging behaviour delivered by Support Workers. Lot E - Palliative and end of life care The services are likely to be procured under a framework agreement with an initial duration of 2 years with the possibility of extension. The Short Breaks Element of the Service will enable and support children and young people with a complex disability to live ordinary family lives, have fun, try new activities, gain independence, reach their aspirations and make friends. The service will also provide families a short break from their caring responsibilities The NHS Continuing Healthcare element of the service will support children with their clinical medical needs through the provision of children's nurses or highly skilled carers to support with clinical needs in a community setting.
