Description
Croydon Council informs prospective providers of an upcoming procurement opportunity for a Supported Housing Service in the London Borough of Croydon. The service will be procured through a public competitive process and is expected to commence following contract award. The primary aim of the service is to provide safe, good-quality accommodation combined with supportive interventions that enable young adults to transition successfully to independent living. Key objectives include: 1. Accommodation Provision: Deliver well-maintained, secure housing that meets statutory and quality standards. 2. Support Services: - Develop life skills (budgeting, cooking, tenancy management); - Promote education, training, and employment opportunities; - Provide emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs; 3. Move-On Outcomes: - Facilitate positive transitions into independent housing or other suitable accommodation. 4. Safeguarding & Well-being: - Ensure robust safeguarding measures and promote physical and mental well-being.
