The PSU requires provider(s) who can provide trainees with workplace strategies to improve common areas including communication, time management, organisation and leadership skills. It's also important that the coaching encourages self-reflective and self-directed learning for the trainees. This support should be delivered by a qualified coach with a minimum level 5 in coaching and mentoring or an equivalent qualification. They also need to be a member of their relevant professional body. The support should also be relevant to the needs of doctors and dentists in all levels of postgraduate training.
