Clapgate Bridge - General Repair

Clapgate Bridge - Large Single arch masonry structure. U Class road from Marske to Richmond. Found just north of Marske Works Consist of: • Removal of vegetation growth within the Bridge Parapet • Removal of Verges • New Drainage channel to be installed, connected into exisiting drain pipes. • Replacement of 3 old Clay Drainage Pipes • New Drain Gulley to be connected into existing drainage pipe • Specified Sections of parapet rebuilding • Full repointing of entire structure (excluding arch) • Road to be closed for duration of the works. (contractor to arrange TM)
