Description
The Move On and Enablement Service is designed for young people with disabilities in Stroud. Gloucestershire County Council are seeking to procure this service, which will run for three years with an option to extend this by up to a further two years. The provision will support young people who have the potential to live independently but need a period of accommodation-based enablement support. The primary focus of the service will be to increase and maximise the independence skills of the young people which it supports, by enabling them to develop experience of independent living, education, employment, and other important life skills. The service will be accommodation based, allowing for the Individuals to develop these skills in a safe and supported environment, which will equip them for further independent living once they move on from the service. During this time, Individuals will be supported to maintain a tenancy. The service will need to provide accommodation for up to eight young people at a time. Individuals must be aged 18 – 24, have a disability and with the potential and ambition to live independently. .
