Lydford Castle Standing Structure Project

The proposed works are for the replacement of an existing access platform and spiral staircase at Lydford Castle, Lydford, Devon. The existing stair provides access to the lower level of Lydford Castle through the only doorway which is at higher level. Lydford Castle is maintained through the English Heritage Trust and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Protection and care for the Castle and grounds are therefore high importance.
