Description
The primary purpose of the service is to engage individuals in breaking their cycle of homelessness and exclusion through the provision of person centred, recovery focused support with the ultimate aim of an individual moving to and maintaining their own tenancy, engaging in community activities, and employment, training or education. The service forms a central part of the Council's available service offer to single homeless people. The service will therefore assist the Council's Housing Options Service to fulfil its statutory duty by providing temporary accommodation under Section 188/193 of the Housing Act.
