Description

HMCTS has a requirement for a suitably qualified and experienced contractor (or contractors) to undertake research to provide robust evidence on court and tribunal users' characteristics, experiences and perceptions. This is required to improve HMCTS's understanding of remote hearing practices implemented during Covid-19 across all jurisdictions, and to make recommendations for use of remote hearings in the longer term. The research is commissioned by HMCTS Customer Directorate (HMCTS-CD). There are two key parts to the research: quantitative and qualitative. - Part 1: the quantitative research focuses on public users and requires contractors to carry out an online and telephone survey - Part 2: the qualitative research requires contractors to interview both public and professional users about their experiences
