Description
The London Borough of Merton (LBM) has a requirement for experienced providers for the provision of Substance Misuse (Drugs and Alcohol) Inpatient Detoxification. The service is to be commissioned with strong recovery outcomes. Inpatient alcohol & drug detoxification usually involve short episodes of hospital based (or equivalent) drug and/or alcohol medical treatment. This normally includes 24-hour medical cover and multidisciplinary team support. This tender for inpatient alcohol & drug detoxification seeks to ensure a range of provision to allow choice in placements, and to maximise treatment outcomes for each service user. Therefore, we will be procuring this service in two (2) Lots: Tenderers can submit a bid for Lot 1 or Lot 2 or for both Lot 1 and Lot 2. • Lot one (1) Medically managed treatment (Complex) and, Medically monitored (Non Complex). This is to be delivered by a maximum of one (1) provider. • Lot Two (2) Medically monitored (Non Complex) only. This is to be delivered by a maximum of two (2) providers. Providers may either bid for an individual Lot, or submit bids for both Lots.
