Description
To deliver Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) Training to eligible 18-29 year olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET). To prepare and guide participants for all aspects of becoming a qualified Large Goods Vehicle driver up to and including all necessary tests. Service Providers should prepare and guide participants to; o Apply for a provisional lorry licence including support on completing and obtaining a medical. o All four tests that make up the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) to qualify. 1) Driver CPC part 1 test:theory. 2) Driver CPC part 2 test:case studies. 3) Driver CPC part 3 test:driving ability. 4) Driver CPC part 4 test:practical demonstration. Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) training should cover all topics needed to prepare participants to be fully informed and ready to obtain their LGV licence. Topics should include but not limited to;
