Community Kitchens (Made in Hackney)

The aim of the programme is to improve residents' health and wellbeing outcomes through their involvement in a programme of cook and eat classes delivered in easily accessible community locations where there are higher numbers of residents with increased risk factors. The courses should improve their diet, give them the skills, knowledge, ideas and inspiration to sustain improvements, as well as have the added benefit of helping to tackle social isolation.
