PROVISION AND DELIVERY OF WILEY'S EVERYTHING DISC WORKSHOPS TO MCA

he Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) has approximately 1400 members of staff who work in various locations across the UK. Wiley's Everything DiSC workplace tool is an integral part of the MCA culture transformation, supporting our internal business plan, 'The Big Picture', for 2021-2023, and achievement of the MCA strategic vision of developing high performing individuals and teams. The aim of delivering Everything DiSC is to increase team effectiveness by encouraging an understanding of our own and other people's preferred working styles, our behaviours and how they impact on successful leadership and team communication and productivity. The Talent and Development team are qualified DiSC practitioners and lead on tailored and bespoke programmes within which the DiSC suite of tools is used including workshops, 360 leadership tools and other assets in the DiSC tool portfolio. As a consequence of the success and impact made this far with Everything DiSC Workplace, the internal team are unable to meet the pace of required DiSC delivery during 2021/22 and seek to partner with a qualified external Everything DiSC facilitator/s to provide delivery of Everything DiSC workshops to MCA staff who have not attended such an event. This will not include staff who will attend a workshop through committed bespoke learning programmes being delivered by the Talent and Development team in the next year. It will, however, include staff new to the Agency as part of MCA Induction events, which are run 4 times a year.
