Firepool Development, Taunton: Block 3 - Office, Boulevard and Public Realm

Somerset West and Taunton Council own land within the centre of Taunton known as the Firepool site, which is a key Town Centre Regeneration Area. The Firepool site comprises 6 blocks. Block 3 is the second Block on the site to be brought forward and will be procured via a Traditional Procurement Route. SWT is seeking to appoint a main contarctor to deliver Block 3. The scope of works can be summarised as follows: • Creation of a 4 storey, 1,800m² office with Commercial Units at Ground Floor Level and a Changing Places Facility. • Development of an 18m wide Boulevard to connect Trenchard Way to Canal Road. • Associated Public Realm works. • Associated Highways works.
