GB-London: 792199686 T1321 Guidance for stabilizing wagons to prevent drag-brake and runaway events.

The project aims to review and characterise opportunities to optimise the practice of stabilising wagons. This research will explore previous reviews of handbrakes and stabilisation. It will undertake new risk analysis where appropriate to establish the factors leading to drag-brake and runaway events and use this information to provide good practice guidance surrounding the stabilisation of freight vehicles.
