Description

Part of Weydon Multi-Academy Trust, The Sixth Form College Farnborough is one of the top performing sixth form colleges in the country. With approximately 4,300 students and 400 staff, it boasts an impressive site and facilities. A significant network infrastructure project is underway and has reached the stage of design and installation of the new Wi-Fi system. The Wi-Fi system must use the latest approved standard, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be). The system must be configured to support network segregation and QoS. It must include a central management tool that can be used to configure the wireless access points, monitor performance and provide alerts in the event of a failure. The central management tool should also have the functionality to deliver software security updates automatically as soon as they are available. The system will be designed and installed in such a way to simplify ongoing support and control and it must be secure.
