Description
The contract is jointly commissioned by the London Borough of Bromley (LBB) and NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group (collectively "the Commissioner"). This joint commissioning exercise, reports to the Integrated Commissioning Board (ICB) with equal funding from both partners and LBB leading on the procurement processes. The core purpose of the service is to ensure that children and young people are supported to maintain positive mental health and emotional wellbeing, with their needs being met at the earliest opportunity. Where more urgent complex mental health and emotional wellbeing needs or crisis support is required, the service will ensure this this is provided quickly and effectively, as the Children and Young People (CYP) are supported into services that can meet their needs. Contract will commence on 1 April 2021 and be for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend for a further period up to, but not exceeding 4 years (2 years + 2 years) at the sole discretion of the Commissioner.
