Appleby Heritage Action Zone Moot Hall Options Appraisal

Appleby is a market town in the Eden District in Cumbria. Eden District Council were successful in applying to Historic England to designate Appleby as a Heritage Action Zone (HAZ), the first in the North West. The HAZ is a partnership between Historic England, Eden District Council and Appleby Town Council and the programme involves a number of heritage projects over a five year timescale. Eden District Council is seeking consultants to undertake an options appraisal for the future of the Moot Hall, a grade II* building in the heart of the town of Appleby in Westmorland.
