Description

Crowan Parish Council (Cornwall) seeks a contractor to supply and install play equipment at The Tom Christopher Playing Field in Leedstown, Cornwall (50°09'38.8"N 5°21'28.9"W). The equipment should be eye-catching and attractive; be constructed of hard-wearing and long-lasting sustainable materials with as low a carbon life-cycle as possible; conform to BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 (appropriate certification to be supplied with the tender); and require minimal maintenance. Each tenderer may submit up to two designs from which one may be selected per supplier. A successful tenderer will then be selected from the shortlisted applicants. Installation must be carried out by an approved contractor or competent person in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The value of the contract is £32,000 exc. VAT (£38,400 inc.
