Description
East Staffordshire Borough Council is seeking suitably qualified Applicants to bid for the provision of it’s Rough Sleepers Outreach Service. The successful applicant must have a background in providing personal support to homeless people, a track record of developing innovative bespoke solutions for individuals with complex needs, past performance in facilitating change for individuals with complex needs, policies and procedures for managing challenging behaviour and ensuring staff safety and knowledge of local housing environment and the options available to this client group. The proposed Contract is for an initial term of two (2) years with the further extension option of one 12 month period. The Rough Sleepers Outreach Service will work to minimise the amount of rough sleepers and reduce the associated harms by providing personal support. As the support can cover a number of different vulnerabilities a wide range of support skills are crucial to appropriately assess needs, plan support and broker access to services and accommodation.
