Description
The purpose of this framework is to enable efficient call-off of specialist CCTV inspection work, root cutting, lining and dig down repair, jetting contractors by the County Council. Availability of resources is key to the effective delivery of this framework. We are therefore seeking to appoint two suppliers to the framework to ensure we have service provision within the required response times: - a 'Tier 1' supplier who would be approached first for any work that requires delivery; - a 'Tier 2' supplier who would be approached if the Tier 1 supplier is unavailable to respond within the required time frames (detailed in the 'Specification' section). The initial term of the framework is for one year from 1st May 2017 to 30th April 2018 with the option to extend for period(s) of up to a maximum of 36 months at the sole discretion of the Council. This may involve several extension periods of a shorter duration than 36 months but the maximum permissible contract length will be four years in total if all extension options are taken.
