Description
NHS Bath and North East Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group (BaNES CCG) commissioned a Community Eye Service for service users registered with a BaNES GP. The key aim of this service is to deliver high quality eye care in the community, supplementing and complementing the care delivered in acute hospital settings. The service will deliver services close to patient homes via locations across the BaNES area. The contract will be for an initial term of 7 years from 03/12/2018, with a possible extension of any period (or periods) up to a further 3 years, as defined and at the discretion of the Commissioner. The value of the initial contract term of 7 years will be £1,568,743.05 excluding VAT. The contract value including the optional extension period will be £2,241,060 excluding VAT. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
