Description
The service is to provide a 6-bed Residential Respite Service for customers with a Learning Disability for a period of 5 years. The key objectives of the respite service are:- a) To provide respite care for people with learning disabilities and enable carers to have a break from caring, reduce isolation and enhance the health, wellbeing and quality of life of carers. b) To accommodate young people coming through Transitions where possible. c) To support people to enjoy better opportunities for independence and inclusion. The service must be person centred and show high quality expertise in meeting social, health and wellbeing needs.
