Description
East Sussex County Council (ESCC) have recently undertaken an employee engagement programme, the results of which have driven a focus on improving and building upon the existing process by which employees can access needs-based assessments and associated recommendations for adjustments, as appropriate. The key areas of focus are as follows: Improved support routes for workplace adjustment provisions including neurodiversity, physical adaptations, sensory, mental health and long-term illness. Equipment and software recommendations made that can be supported by our IT&D service. Meaningful management information to track progress of cases and requests. We aspire to create a smooth pathway for managers and employees to access assessments and associated support through a timely and seamless process.
