Description
The Authority is seeking to establish an Agreement to deliver the Project comprising the demolition of existing office buildings and industrial warehousing and the construction of a mixed-use scheme providing approximately 80 residential units across two blocks with commercial and retail spaces provided at the ground and basement levels, in compliance with the Employer's Requirements, all Planning and Reserved Matters and conditions, Building Regulation Approval, Fire Officer's Approval and recommendations and any other Statutory and Statutory Body Approval(s). Specifically, the scope of services will comprise of Demolition works of the existing office buildings and industrial warehousing Construction Works in connection with the construction of new residential units; Design services in connection with the Contractor's role as Principal Contractor under JCT Design and Build Contract Acting as Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations 2015. The duration of the contract construction period is intended to be for an initial period of 2.5 years in line with the programme included in the Employers Requirements. The construction budget for the works is ?25.5m The Form of Contract shall be the JCT Design and Build Contract 2016, incorporating a schedule of Employer's Amendments
