Firefighter PPE research

Lincolnshire County Council representing the National Fire Chiefs Council has commissioned a research project. The requirement is for the delivery of 2 documents that will support the NFCC's procurement activities for their PPE tender in 2025:\r \r 1.A comprehensive test protocol, designed to be used by suppliers and independent test facilities to test equipment submitted as part of bids to assess whether it meets operational requirements set out by NFCC\r \r 2. An evidence-based report detailing the research underpinning the test protocol. This report will also be used by the NFCC to inform PPE specifications their PPE tender in 2025
