Description
West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) has been successful in their bid to receive funding from the Department for Education (DfE) Further Education Professional Development Grants (FEPDG) that will strengthen the professional development and progression of the FE workforce. As such, WYCC are seeking Knowledge Facilitators to develop and deliver tailored resources from which curriculum leaders can implement and replicate teachings. Content will be based on the following five themes ('LOTS'): 1. Digitalisation within the classroom 2. Socratic Questioning to meet the needs of individual learners 3. Blended learning, VLE to aid classroom learning 4. Problem solving (creating tasks that develop learners' ability to problem solve) 5. Starter activities and plenaries (how can these be used to sequence learning and highlight gaps) ADDENDUM: Due to an insufficient number of applications previously received, the deadline for the following lots has been revised to Friday 10th December at 12noon. -Socratic Questioning -Blended learning, VLE to aid classroom learning -Problem solving Evaluation for the lots covering digitalisation within the classroom and starter activities and plenaries is currently underway and bidders will be notified of the outcome in due course. No further proposals can be accepted in relation to these two lots.
