Description
The Gloucester Museum, also known as the City Museum and Art Gallery on Brunswick Road, is a Grade II listed building included on the National Heritage List for England under entry number 1245964. Its designation recognises both the architectural quality and the historic significance of the building, which was originally constructed in 1892-3. Care should be taken and any works covered by this specification should be done sympathetically towards the building's fabric. This tender relates specifically to the fire alarm system at Gloucester Museum which forms part of a wider project which will eventually encompass a comprehensive refurbishment of the building, the present works are confined to addressing urgent non-compliance issues within the existing fire alarm installation.
