Description
We are seeking to build upon and embed a positive, constructive and effective culture across our organisation. Alongside many other practices and initiatives that are currently underway we wish to focus upon increasing the skills, competence and confidence of our managers in their role supporting the workforce to provide the best outcomes for the people of the District amidst times of challenge and change. While the overall aim identifies our desired outcomes for the entire development activity, the tender is split into sections as identified in the Objectives. These specific pieces of work are titled as follows: • Objective 1 - Thinking Differently - Setting the vision and our ambition including a survey of current organisational culture • Objective 2 - Leadership & Culture - Changing Mindset, Skillset & Behaviour • Objective 3 - Getting the best from our staff - best practice solutions for managing staff ** • Objective 4 - Co-ordination, communication and telling the story Providers should have an understanding of the organisation, its recent activity and direction of travel. Prospective providers will be expected to understand the current challenges facing Public Services and should have a demonstrable track record of working with similar organisations to support positive transformation and change. Delivery should be aligned with current organisational plans, ensuring key messages are consistent with strategic direction. Providers are invited to tender for individual objective areas but can tender for more than one. If more than one provider is successful in the tendering process, there is a requirement that those agencies would liaise with each other to ensure synergy, co-ordination and efficient delivery. If no single Bidder meets the requirements of any single "Objective", the Council reserves the right to ask Bidders to consider a collaborative approach. ** Please Note - 'Objective 3 - Getting the best from our staff-best practice solutions for managing staff' will be delivered under current contractual arrangements with an existing provider but has been included to provide a complete picture of the programme as a whole.
