Description
Rutland County Council Local Full Fibre Networks project (Digital Rutland LFFN) Upgrades to Public Sector Buildings in Rutland, is a third wave project for the Full Fibre Network Programme (LFFN) operated byBroadband Development UK (BDUK) within the Department for Digital, Media, Culture and Sport (DCMS) andthis procurement is part funded by DCMS. This is an open tender compliant with Public Contract Regulations 2015. The anticipated value of this Contract is a total of £2,502,000 for the installation period, referred to as "the Budget" within this tender. This is comprised of a baseline budget of £2,002,000 against which Bidders should price their tender response and an estimated £500,000 of Additional Funding budget which if it becomes available will be brought in via a Change Control Procedure during the contract term. The Contract term comprises two parts: The full Fibre networks installation (including testing and commissioning) period which must be completed by 31March 2021 to allow the Authority to submit its final funding claim to DCMS by 30 June 2021 The reporting period effective for five (5) years from the Final Acceptance Date. The deadline for bids is noon 19th September 2019. It is anticipated that the Contract will be awarded for the provision of the services on or after 22nd November 2019.
