Description
The Isle of Man Government invites expressions of interest from appropriately experienced and qualified persons or organisations to provide a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment Chapter on Drugs and Alcohol on the Isle of Man to the Department of Health & Social Care. The JSNA will provide the framework to examine all factors that impact on drug and alcohol misuse within our Island community, including the wider determinants of health, using key steps, for example, data collection (public, private and third sectors, and primary and secondary care health data), engagement, analysis and interpretation. This will enable a core data set to be developed using a clearly defined criteria that provides a clear picture of substance misuse on the Isle of Man. The process will include mapping of existing services and pathways, benchmarking against quality and best practice standards and checking whether they meet the population needs now and in the future. This process will result in a gap analysis, drawing up the recommendations and the translation of these into strategic objectives to steer the Drug and Alcohol Strategy and subsequent implementation plan. Stakeholders will be expected to supply the relevant information to add depth and insight into the needs of the population and agree standards with the provider on the data quality for inclusion in the process. Please be aware that neither the Treasury, Procurement Services nor any other part of Government or any other organisation assisting the Government with the procurement process, will accept any charges for expenses or losses incurred by any interested party as a result of responding to this enquiry.
